Wunderman Adds VP, Data and Analytics

Seattle, July, 29 2011—The Wunderman network has hired Shawn Sweeney in the role of VP, Data and Analytics. In this new position, Sweeney will lead a team of Wunderman network data, analytics, and insights experts dedicated to driving the effectiveness of the global agency’s marketing campaigns for Microsoft’s products and services in 59 countries around the world.
Prior to joining Wunderman, Sweeney established the Customer Insights practice for Slalom Consulting, where he led strategy, marketing automation, and customer insight engagements for clients such as The Home Depot, Delta Airlines, Hyatt Hotels, Gap, Expedia, Starbucks, and Microsoft. Prior to Slalom, Sweeney ran the Content Management Practice for Accenture EMEA, delivering digital asset and content management solutions for clients such as Vivendi Universal, Vodafone, Telewest, and BP. Sweeney is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

In his new position, Sweeney will be have dual reporting responsibilities to Kass Sells, Wunderman Seattle’s Managing Director and Global Client Lead for the Wunderman network’s engagement with Microsoft, and KBMG’s Rutberg.

Sweeney will join the Wunderman network team in its Seattle offices as of August 11.
