Ask anyone what is the key to Becky Chidester’s success and you will hear that she has a penchant for performance and the ability to build the right infrastructure, resources and teams to succeed. It’s a skill that has been a motivating force in her career at Wunderman and her role as president, Wunderman World Health.
Wunderman World Health covers pharmaceuticals, health insurance, services and devices, OTCs and nutritionals, eye care and wellness. As its leader, Becky manages global cross-channel healthcare offering across Wunderman. Her mission is to grow health sector business in Asia, Europe and Latin America and diversify Wunderman’s already strong U.S. credentials. Wunderman World Health captured early traction in Japan, South Korea and China, which led to significant new business from Baxter, Pfizer, Guthy-Renker, and Sanofi.
Becky knows Wunderman well, serving as president, and before that as chief operating officer of Wunderman New York, as well as CEO of partner company RTCRM, based in Washington, D.C.
In New York, she broadened the agency’s analytics and strategic services capabilities and championed the creation of Wunderman’s Listening Platform. She also added Nationwide, Abbott and Kimberly Clark as clients. At RTCRM, Becky built a vibrant healthcare practice known as a premier provider for direct-to-consumer and patient relationship marketing programs. RTRM’s work for Claritin and Mead Johnson Enfamil Family Beginnings was recognized by the Direct Marketing Association in 1999 as one of the best loyalty programs of the decade.
Becky’s 20-year career journey is the best example of her performance-driven style. She joined RTCRM (then known as RTC Relationship Marketing) in 1989 and worked her way through the ranks to president and CEO in 1999. In 2005, Becky joined Wunderman New York as COO and was promoted to president two years later.
Becky’s experience includes legislative and regulatory issues programs for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, coalition-building and referendum campaigns for Fortune 500 clients. She began her career in the press office of former Senator Birch Bayh of Indiana.
Becky is a member of the Direct Marketing Association and is a regular speaker at CRM and loyalty marketing industry events.
