As partner and CEO of ZAAZ, Shane sets the agency’s overall strategy. His long-term strategic vision blends creative and data to help businesses realize the full potential of their brand. Shane not only communicates the essence of the ZAAZ brand and its wide range of service offerings, he often works directly with clients and leads partnerships across the many companies involved in the business.

In 1998 (at 26), Shane co-founded ZAAZ to advocate a different approach to web services—one that respected and delivered on the power of the individual and the promise of web technologies. Since then, ZAAZ has grown to be one of the most respected interactive and analytics firms in the industry. In 2006, ZAAZ became part of the Wunderman network.

Shane specializes in strategic consulting and business development in a digital world filled with real-time data and rich consumer insights. His knowledge of web marketing, design and customer relationship management has led the agency to develop some of the most compelling online experiences for a wide range of clients, including Converse, Starbucks, T-Mobile, Disney, Fox Television Network, Microsoft, National Geographic, PBS, Warner Brothers and Boeing.

His advocacy for creating meaningful, effective visitor-centric digital strategies continues outside of ZAAZ. He co-authored Actionable Web Analytics: Using Data to Make Smart Business Decisions and is a frequent speaker at major conferences and business associations, including CREDO, DMA, Omniture, Compete Digital CMO Summit and AIGA.

Shane graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Psychology. He lives with his family in Seattle, Washington.
